Blue Maltese Cross on white background. The Maltese cross is associated with the Knights Hospitaller (the Knights of Malta) and is still the symbol of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, the Order of St John, and many other orders. It may also be Bavarian or Freikorp, I cannot say for sure. It is constructed out of white and blue cotton. There is a string running through hoist end, with oxidized steel clip to the top and 5 1/2 inches to the bottom. The top clip has been re-enfored onto the flag with some stitching. It measures 13 1/3 inches long by 7 3/4 inches tall. Heavily mothed.
