Federal Republic of Germany - Bundeswehr Visierkappe für und Offiziere der Luftwaffe by Bamberger Mützen Industrie. It is constructed out of blue-grey twill cotton, with a horizontally ribbed and interwoven center-band and yellow piping. Attached to the obverse is a tri-color cockade above a Luftwaffe Schwinge in front of an oak leaf and acorn wreath, that is open to the top and tied together at the bottom. To each side is a peened-on silver washed aluminum pebbled side buttons that hold the silver interwoven bullion chin cord in place. There is a black lacquered visor peak with a cross hatched grey blue underside. The edge has and a reinforced edge. The interior features a grey blue leather sweatband that is stitched to the back and covers a pad to the forehead. The base of the interior has a blue grey colored silk lining under a clear diamond moisture shield over the “Bamberger Mützen Industrie” manufacturers logo.
