Canada, WWII - P37 Canteen and Harness 1939
Canadian, WWII – British Mark VII / Canadian P37 Canteen with a Bucket-Type Carrier and Harness. The canteen is constructed out of a green enameled steel, with a corked top (cork is broken) attached with string, covered in an olive drab wool. It comes with the khaki webbed “Bucket Type” carrier that has brass buckles. It is maker marked and dated to the interior, though it is very faint. The carrying strap is also constructed out of a webbed khaki, that has brass ends, and is maker marked and dated, again it is faint. It is held together with a single thread. The bucket measures 5 5/8 wide by 8 ¾ inches tall by 2 5/8 inches thick.
