Uniform Removed - M36 Wehrmacht-Heer Brustadler für Unteroffizer und Offiziere. Introduced February 17, 1934, the appropriate national eagle was to be worn on the tunic’s left breast pocket as the identifying symbol. It is constructed out of a machine embroidered silver flatwire thread on an emerald green rayon and wool backing that is stitched to a piece of field gray uniform. The obverse depicts a M36 2nd pattern silver army open winged eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, above an emerald green backing stitched to a piece of field gray uniform.
