Japan, Edo Period (c. 1775-1800) - Kashira (頭) and Fuchi (縁) Tuneshige with rare signature, student of Nara Shigetsuga. Subject: Abura Bozu shelters from the rain before the Torii gate enterance to Giyonji Temple. He worked in a refined style mostly in brass and rarely ever signed. Rare. Kiri box and pillow included.
