Luftwaffe Officer's Cap Eagle
Mützenadler für Offiziere der Luftwaffe - c.1936/1937-1945. It is constructed out of hand embroidered rolled and twisted aluminum-silver bullion-flatwire and tan cotton thread to a blue grey wool and white buckram backing. The obverse shows a 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle with outstretched wings clutching a mobile swastika in one of its talons. The reverse shows stitching throughout the white backing. It measures 2 3/8 inches wide by 1 ¼ tall.
