NSDAP Kreistag Mecklenburg Ludwigslust Badge 1938
NSDAP Kreistag Gau Mecklenburg Ludwigslust Abzeichen 1938 by L. Christian Lauer of Nürnberg-Berlin. It is constructed out of a die-struck aluminum-alloy base that has been silver washed. The shield shaped obverse features an NSDAP eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, on a pedestal that reads: “NSDAP Gau Mecklenburg Kreistag 1938 Kreis Ludwigslust”, which is flanked by two fires. The full back reverse is maker marked “L. Chr. Lauer, Nürnberg-Berlin” and features a horizontally crimped-on steel well working pin assembly. There is a hole drilled through the center. It measures 1 3/8 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches tall.
