NS-RKB Veterans Breast Eagle by S&L
NS-RKB (Nationalsozialistischer Reichskriegerbund) Brustadler. In my opinion this is manufactured by Steinhauer & Luck of Lüdenscheid. It is constructed out of an injection molded aluminum-alloy base that has been silver washed and contains black enamel work. The obverse depicts a Veterans eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons, with two crossed broad swords and a centrally placed Iron cross on its chest. The hollow back reverse shows a well working, crimped tombak catch and hinge, along with a straight round wire pin. It is also marked “2 Ges. Gesch”. It measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall. A nice, bright display piece.
