Registered Soldier’s League Visor Cap Eagle
Soldatenbund Mützen Adler c.1936-38. Constructed out of a die stamped tombak based that has been black enamel painted and silver washed. The obverse features a Soldatenbund eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, on top of two crossed broad swords and behind an Iron Cross. The hollow back reverse is marked: “Ges. Gesch.” and retains its flatwire prongs. It measures 2 9/16 inches wide by 1 ½ inches tall.
