Hitler Youth Belt Buckle by RZM M422

Hitlerjugend Koppelschloß by RZM M4/22 - (C.T.Dicke of Lüdenscheid), introduced in 1936. It is constructed out of zinc. The obverse roundel depicts a closed winged HJ eagle clutching an HJ diamond within its talons on a pebbled round background. Above the eagle is the Hitler Youth motto reading: “Blut und Ehre” (Blood and Honor). This is then encircled by detailed lines which are enclosed by two twisted ropes and all lies on the smooth rectangular background. The reverse is maker marked. The prongs and integral catch remain in great condition. It shows wear to the high areas and storage age. The buckle itself is nicely marked RZM M4/38. Just minor storage age.
