Here we have a generic Model 1935 Army Dagger (Reichsheer Offiziersdolch)! The unmarked bright blade on this one is about as good as it gets. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is perfect. The blade rates an easy Min-. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The dent-free steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard is beautiful. The throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. The zinc-alloy based, heavily nickel-silver plated generic crossguard provides beautiful detail throughout with matching patina. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns that have wonderful burnishing that make those oak leaves and acorns pop right out at you! The celluloid over plaster chip and crack-free grip on this one is perfect! It's got a bit of stain towards the ferule I suspect from a portepee that disappeared at some point. A nicely matching example most likely sold out of a uniform shop!
