Luftwaffe Fighting Knife
Nahkampfmesser. The uncleaned blade on this one is minty. It is Luftwaffe inspection stamped with a 5 inside a stick bird. It is nicely executed. The fit is nice and tight. The blade rates Mint with smooth edges and a sharp tip along with nice crossgrain. It is unsharpened. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard looks great! It retains 99% of its original black paint and remains dent free! The three prong hanger remains intact. The steel crossguard remains straight. The two multi-toned hardwood grip plates remain in excellent condition! They are tightly secured by three rivets. You never find them in this condition!
