SA Dagger by RZM M7/37
A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M7/37 - Robert Klaas of Solingen-Ohligs. The blade on this one has and spotting. The acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and “RZM M7/37” maker mark are crisp and beautifully executed! The some crossgrain remains. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates an Exc/Exc+. It shows typical runner marks. The scabbard is steel based and brown painted. It shows surface spidering. It continues to remain completely dent free and retains 98%+ paint coverage! The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings are retaining 99%+ plating coverage. The ball is bumped in. All four screws are tightly secured! The scabbard / crossguard fit is ok, typical RZM fit. The crossguards are plated and suffer age and plating loss. The nut is steel and someone removed it with plyers and you can see the scars. The chip and crack-free brown hardwood grip looks good. It has the typical pressure marks. The plated is beautifully detailed with 95% plating intact and good fit. The SA roundel is retains 99%+ of its enamel and also has a perfect fit!
