SS Officer Sleeve Eagle
Here we have a black, silver/aluminum and bullion hand embroidered SS sleeve eagle on a black wool and white buckram base. The left facing eagle has outstretched wings and is clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The eagle's bright silver thread colors remains in superb condition and wonderfully contrasts the black base! No stitching loss, mothing or soil. It measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches high. Purchased from John Angolia in 1985. Overall it's a stunning example that you need in your collection!
