Damascus - 2nd Model Luftwaffe by Fridericus
A M1937 Fliegerdolch by tthe famous distibutor Fridericus of Solingen. The blade on this one is Damascus by Paul Dinger, really very nice. Certainly NM. As with most Fridericus product this one employs generic fittings for their hilt. The dent-free WKC produced scabbard is an airplane grey example with excellent detail and look at the finish!! The throat is secured by a unturned screw. The crossguard and pommel are have been chemically darkened. This really sets off the deep orange trylon grip. The grip is perfect. The twisted springy wire wrap remains nice and tight. Included is a nice portepee.
