Here we have a combat worn example of a M18 Helmet. The shell is constructed out of a stamped piece of steel sheet metal that has been period green painted. The shell has a folded over edge, two separately applied air vents and three split rivets. The interior has post-war Norwegian style line. all eight fingers remain. The exterior continues to retain 90%+ of its original textured paint! The helmet is maker marked and sized "ET66" Eisenhuettenwerke Thale A.G. The chinstrap looks original. A great piece and large size!
