Short Dress Bayonet by WKC
Extraseitengewehr by WKC of Solingen. The single edged, fullered 7 7/8 inch plated blade on this one looks excellent! The stamped Knight “WKC” maker mark is beautifully executed! The plating gives it a nice mirror like finish. The tip comes to a nice point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates NM. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based black enamel repainted scabbard shows light wear. It shows some wear, chips and retains 98%+ coverage. The original throat retaining screw and frog lug remain intact. The ball remains perfectly round. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated hilt looks great as well. It retains 99%+ of a plating coverage. The black checkered bakelite grip plates are in perfect condition being tightly secured to the hilt with two rivets. The push button continues to work well! Included is the original frog made from supple quality leather. A nice quality piece!
