Model 1933 - Schutzstaffel Dienstdolch by Boker of Solingen. The Cadillac of all SS Dagger makers, Boker! The blade on this one looks great. It has very fine crossgrain that runs the full length of the blade and the fit and tip are both perfect! The dark and crisp, acid etched "Meine Ehre heist Treue" motto and "Boker Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed and provide a wonderful contrast to the bright blade! The blade rates a Exc++/Near Mint! It has some minor age spotting. The black anodized scabbard is looks very good. It has a wonderful back finish! The solid nickel scalloped fittings also look excellent. All four scabbard screws remain intact. The solid nickel crossguards look excellent as well! The reverse of the lower fitting is district stamped "I" (Minich). The black died hardwood grip looks great, and is better than most SS daggers! There are several pressure marks throughout, but that's about it. The solid nickel eagle is wonderfully detailed. The SS roundel retains 99% of its enamel and has a perfect fit! This piece also comes with a black leather vertical pre-RZM SS hanger! These we often see on Early daggers prior to the standardization with RZM. Guys are always telling me they eventually want to get an SS dagger. Well wait no more this one is for you!
