Extraseitengewehr by Ernst Pack & Söhne of Solingen. The single edged, fullered, drop point, 9 11/16 inch long plated blade on this one looks great. The stamped: “E. Pack & Söhne Solingen” maker mark is beautifully executed. It has a perfect fit and tip. The blade rates NM. The brown buffer pad remains intact. The sheet metal based black enamel painted scabbard looks great. It has a bit of spidering and minor scratches throughout. Certainly 98%+ paint remains. The single throat retaining screw remains intact. The hit is injection molded zinc that has been plated. 99% of the plating remains intact. The hilt is zinc based and nickel-silver plated. There are some scratches to the obverse pommel. The button continues to work well. The two-bakelite grip plates are in perfect condition. They are tightly secured by two E. Pack specific grip rivets. This one comes with a blacked leather frog.
