A M1937 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger (Fliegerdolch) by Peter Daniel Krebs of Solingen. The bright blade on this one looks great! The acid etched maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! Nice crossgrain remains. It has a perfect tip and perfect fit. The blade on this one rates Exc++ with a few hints of age. The blue pebbled leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based "airplane grey" plated scabbard looks good with 99% plating remaining. It depicts good details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and retains the throat retaining screw. It has nicely aged and patinaed with time. The zinc based eagle crossguard, steel ferrule and zinc pommel all look good! The eagle has good detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak The aluminum double twist wire wrap remains tightly intact. A rare maker.
