1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Puma
1st Model (1934/35) Airforce Dagger (Luftwaffe Fliegerdolch) by Puma of Solingen. Here's a rare maker. This one has a Exc++ blade with some scuffs but real good plating. It's blue pebbled leather buffer is intact. The stamped maker mark is nicely executed. The hilt fittings are all silver washed zinc with much of the finish absorbed. The grip retains its triple wire wrap. looks like a small repair at some point. The chain is lost to time. There are no dents to the scabbard body but there is some leather loss to the seam. Yes, I could apply some shoe wax and make this look real pretty but I prefer to sell these as they land. 1 screw is lost. There is normal wear on the grip.
