2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger By Krebs

Here we have a M1937 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger (Fliegerdolch) by Carl Julius Krebs of Solingen. The polished blade on this example has stains, some light pitting and evidence it's been cleaned hard. The fit is nice and tight! The blade rates Exc. The scabbard is a darkened example with good detail. It shows wear and some wee hits as well as a small dent I have tried to show. Can hardly see it fit you can feel it with your fingers. The aluminum crossguard and pommel are nicely detailed and remain in good condition, nicely matching the aluminum scabbard bands. The trylon based grip has a chip and small hairlines to the upper pommel fit. is also in good shape having normal period wear. The ferrule is up-side-down. The double twist wire wrap remains intact.
