Early Anton Wingen Jr. SA Dagger

Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

An early Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by Anton Wingen of Solingen. The blade on this one has some age grey and stain. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Anton Wingen Jr. Solingen" maker mark are both nice and clear. The blade rates Exc. The brown anodized scabbard looks excellent and it still retains some of its original factory lacquer! There are no dents. There is some wear to the finish. The solid nickel scabbard fittings are nice and the ball is undented. All screws intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards are in near perfect condition, matching the scabbard fittings in color and wear. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "No" (Nordsee). The grip / crossguard fits are nice. The brown multi-toned hardwood grip has a few pressure marks some flakes and chips. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel.
