Army Dagger by Eickhorn/ Gebr. Meyer

Here we have the rare 3rd pattern Eickhorn Model 1935 Army Dagger (Heer Dolch) with a distributor mark. The blade on this one is Exc+. There is some age gray that I have not tried to clean. Nothing else to say. The etched squirrel “Original Eickhorn Solingen” manufacturers mark is crisp and to the overse the distriutor mark stamped, "Gebr. Meyer Munster". The tip and fit are perfect. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based plated Eickhorn scabbard has light wear and a couple good hitsthat have left it dented. It provides good detail with the random pebbling throughout. The original throat retaining screw continues to remain intact and unturned. The zinc-alloy based, plated crossguard provides beautiful detail. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed. The orange trylon grip on this one has wear and a small hairline to the lower reverse. Hard to find distributor marked examples.
