Hitler Youth Marksman Badge by RZM M1/120
A Hitlerjugend Schiessauszeichnungen für Schützen by RZM M1/120. Instituted in 1936, the Hitler Youth Marksman Badge was awarded to members who successfully shot the correct amount of target points in the prone position with weapon (.22 caliber rifle) supported/unsupported. It is constructed out of a multi piece die struck nickel-silver/tombak base that has been silver washed and contains black, white and red translucent enamel work. The obverse depicts a small centrally placed Hitler Youth emblem in front of two crossed rifles which is all in front of a black round target. The reverse is maker marked “RZM M1/120” and has a soldered on round plate and pin. It measures approximately 13/16 of an inch in diameter. A great piece!
