SS Full Rohm by Abr, Herder

Schutzstaffel Ehrendolch mit Widmung by Carl Eickhorn of Solingen. E. Rohm Honour Daggers were granted to members of the SS and SA who either had interrupted service since December 31, 1931 or those who transferred from the Hitler Youth prior to that time (February 22, 1934 - II Order Nr. 2869). 9900 were allocated for eligible members of the SS. After the Night of the Long Knives, Ernst Röhm was declared a “traitor” and removal of the inscription was mandated (July 4, 1934 - II Daily Record Nr. 7566). To have the full inscription was against Hitler’s command, making this dagger an incredibly rare and desirable piece in the collecting community…

  • Polished blade with etched motto, manufacturer's trademark and full dedication "In herzlicher Kameradschaft Ernst Röhm" (In Cordial Comradeship Ernst Rohm). Nickel silver hilt fittings, with lower reverse cross-guard stamped "I" for Munich. Black ebony wooden grip in near flawless condition with inset nickel silver eagle and enamelled SS emblem. Black burnished steel scabbard retaining 90% plus lacquer with undamaged nickel silver fittings retained by unturned screws. Wonderful matching black leather hanger with nickel-plated silver fittings. Length 37.5 cm.
