Here's a nice early RAD "Arbeits Dank" pin! It is constructed out of a die stamped nickel-alloy base that has been silver washed and contains red, white and black enamel work. The oval shaped obverse depicts a centrally placed downward pointing black spade shovel with a mobile swastika on its head and a wheat sheath coming out either side of it, this lies on a white background and is surrounded by "Arbeits Dank" (Labor Thanks) which is on a red pebbled background. The full back reverse shows a soldered on round plate which holds a vertical well working pin. Marked "GES GECH" The enamel work is excellent, 99% intact! A great inexpensive item to go along nicely with your RAD collection!
