1st Model - Railway Dagger by Robert Klaas
1st Model – Deutsches Reich Bahnschutz Dolch. Textbook 1st model rail! The blade has age stain and some pitting. The logo is the stamped Klaas kissing cranes that is considered to be the most accepted maker for these daggers. The leather blade buffer is in place. The generic crossguard has good detail. The typical Klaas grip is black trylon is crack and chip-free. Again I've taken care to show you every flaw possible here. The scabbard is dented towards the tip with nicely detailed bands featuring the distinctive Klaas astrix (*). The throat is fairly thick and is retained by a two screws. Included is a minty set of hangers with black backings. Not textbook but a nice addition. A very nice example at a reasonable price.
