1st Pattern - Polizei/Feuerwehr Mützen Adler c.April 1934-June 1936. It is constructed out of a two-piece die stamped nickel-silver base that has been soldered together and silver washed. The obverse depicts a 1st pattern police eagle, with outstretched wings clutching a mobile swastika within its talons and is surrounded by a laurel leaf and berry wreath that is tied together at the bottom. The reverse shows a hollow back and both soldered-on flat wire tombak prongs. It measures 1 5/8 inches wide by 1 ¾ inches tall. An early piece with beautiful detail and in excellent condition.
