Deutsche Wehrmacht Armband
Rare printed variation - Deutsche Wehrmacht Armbinde. These were worn by civilian volunteers whose goal was to assist the armed forces in a non-combatant role. It is constructed out of a yellow dyed cotton base with black ink print. The obverse reads, in black gothic style script: “Deutsche Wehrmacht” (German Armed Forces) on a yellow cotton base. The top and bottom have been folded over and stitched together with white thread. The reverse has been stitched to size. Minor soil. It measures 7 13/16 inches wide by 3 3/8 inches tall.
