This is a later lightweight aluminum based example. It has a nice gilded aluminum based hilt. The unmarked 35" plated blade is excellent with just a but of plating loss towards the tip. This one is illustrated in Angolia reference pg 73. Real nice details to this. This eagle is in the short pointed wing political style with a right looking eagle. There is some wear to the high areas exposing the base aluminum. The black enamel painted scabbard is dent-free with wear towards the drag. There are a few wee white paint scuffs that you can remove in about 2 min with some elbow grease. The top of the hilt is hand chiseled expertly matching the tang with hand enhanced detail to the lion's hair. The head again is hand enhanced with inset evil looking glass eyes. The eagle's right eye is slightly protruding a couple mm. The grip is painted aluminum with just a few small scrapes. It is wrapped with triple wire wrap. A nice example by a rarer maker!
