Hitler Youth Armband
HitlerJunge Kampfbinde. This official pattern armband was worn on the upper left sleeve of most all Hitler Youth uniforms as the identifying organizational insignia. It is constructed out of a multi-piece died cotton base that has been machine embroidered and stitched together. The obverse features a separately applied and centrally placed HJ emblem, which consists of a white diamond and a black embroidered mobile swastika, which is in front of a stitched on white horizontal line and all lies on a red cotton backing. The top and bottom have been folded over and stitched together. The back has been stitched together to size. This must have been worn by a very small kid! It measures approximately 6 inches wide by 4 inches tall. Great age and soil and not damage.
