M40 ET64 SD RAD Combat Helmet

This M40 SD RAD Helmet is a nice example of this iconic German combat helmet. The exterior shows scuffs, minor scratches and marks from handling and wear. It looks like there may be remnants of a Heer decal under the RAD decal but I can't tell for sure. The split pins are complete and firmly still secured to the helmet with some paint retention. The « RAD » decal has been nicely field applied over the slight shadow of the Heer decal. It rates at 70%+. The interior is undisturbed and in its original as found state. The M31 liner system is complete with 3 torn fingers and wear to the edges. Leather is toned. Unmarked chinstrap is complete with aluminum buckle. A scarce combat helmet.
