A Nationalsozialistische Parteiabzeichen (c. 1942-1945) by RZM M1/128 - Eugen Schmidhäussler of Pforzheim. These were available for private purchase / given (HJ/BDM) to individuals after they had joined the NSDAP. It is constructed out of a die struck zinc base that has been silver washed and contains red, white and black enamel paint work. The round shaped obverse depicts a black mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE - D.A.P.” on a red pebbled backing. The slightly concave reverse shows a horizontally crimped on well working steel pin assembly. The back is maker marked “RZM M1/128”. The pin measures 15/16 of an inch in diameter.
