Deutsche Wehrmacht Armband

Here we have an early Deutsche Wehrmacht Armband! These were worn by civilian volunteers whose goal was to assist the armed forces in a non-combatant role. It is constructed out of a yellow cotton base with a black machine embroidered script. The obverse reads "Deutsche Wehrmacht" (German Armed Forces) in a stitched on black gothic style script with a district issue stamp to the top left all above a yellow base. The top and bottom have reinforced chain link stitching along with some minor soil. The back has been stitched together to size.
