DAF Membership Pin by RZM 1/17
Deutsche Arbeitsfront Mitgliedsabzeichen by RZM 83 - E. W. Assmann & Sohne,. This piece would have been worn by the DAF member while in civilian clothing. It is constructed out of a die struck zinc base that has been silver washed. The round shaped obverse features a DAF emblem, which consists of; a crosshatched mobile swastika surrounded by a cog wheel. The full back reverse is clearly maker marked “RZM 1/17” and has a soldered-on pin. The face measures ¾ of an inch in diameter.
