US Model 1860 Staff & Field Officer's Sword
Private purchase sword this features an ornate brass hilt with a a white metal grip that is black painted with many chips and wire wrapped. The plated blade has oxidation toward the hilt. The tang is peaned at the pommel. The two ring scabbard has a dent and has oxidation and patina. The scabbard is slightly curved so i believe this is NOT the original scabbard for this. The throat is missing.
