A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by WKC (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie.) of Solingen. The blade on this one looks excellent. The acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and “RZM M7/42” maker mark are both dark, crisp and beautifully executed. The crossgrain wonderfully shines against the light, running the full length of the blade. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight. It rates an Exc++/NM. It shows age spotting throughout and minor runner marks / surface scratches. The sheet metal brown enamel paint scabbard looks wonderful. It retains 99%+ paint coverage and it is completely dent free. Minor spidering. The steel-based nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings are in excellent condition. They show some spotting yet retaining 97%+ plating coverage. The ball remains perfectly round and it retains all four screws. The scabbard to crossguard fit is perfect. The crossguards are zinc based and nickel-silver plated. They show minor age bubbling matching the scabbard fittings perfectly. The brown hardwood grip is a treat. Just beautiful! The aluminum eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel is retains 99%+ of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! This one came with a single piece hanger that remains in well working condition.
