Tagged - Bund Deutscher Mädel Jungmädelgruppe “Ost Generalgovernement” Obergauarmdreieck by RZM A4/302. Introduced April 1934, the BDM/JM sleeve triangles would have been worn on the upper left sleeve while the member was completing their service in the specified region. The Eastern General Government was comprised of what is today southeastern Poland and part of the northwestern Ukraine, and included the cities of Warsaw, Radom, Lublin, Cracow, and what was then called Lemberg. It is constructed out of a white machine embroidered cotton to a black rayon base. The isosceles triangle obverse features, in white Gothic script: “Ost Generalgovernement” in a thin white border strip to the edges, which all lies on a black base. The reverse two top edges have been folded over and re-enforced with black stitching and has a glued-on rectangular paper issue tag. It measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 1 7/8 inches tall. Minty and desirable.
