The obverse depicts a crossed model 24 grenade and K98 bayonet with oak leaves, acorns and lined rays all beneath a German national eagle. The reverse of the badge correctly displays; a crimped flatwire catch, crimped sheet metal hinge and fluted style pin with a crimped steel blackened backplate.
