A Transitional - Deutsche Arbeitsfront Mitgliedsabzeichen by RZM 83 - Willy Annetsberger of München. This piece would have been worn by the DAF member while in civilian clothing. It is constructed out of a die struck nickel-silver base that has been silver washed. The round shaped obverse features a cut-out DAF emblem, which consists of; a crosshatched mobile swastika surrounded by a cog wheel. The full back reverse is clearly maker marked “RZM 83” and has a soldered-on pin, hinge and catch assembly. The face measures ¾ of an inch in diameter. Rarer than the stick pin variation.
