Navy Small Battle Units Proficiency Badge
Rare – 1st Grade Kleinkampfverband der Kriegsmarine (K-Verband) “Small Battle Unit of the Kriegsmarine” Bewährungsabzeichen/Proficiency Badge. Introduced November 30, 1944, the 1st Grade Proficiency Badge was awarded for wear to volunteers in the Kleinkampfverbände during training and a two-month probationary period. It is constructed out of a yellow machine embroidered stitching on a navy-blue wool backing. The obverse features a yellow Swordfish. It measures 2 ¾ inches wide. Comes with a COA from Neiman.
