“Green Hbt Backing” - Brustadler für Luftwaffe Hoheitsabzeichen c.1936/1937-1945. This variant would be worn on the four pocket HBT Luftwaffe summer tunic and/or Luftwaffe field division smock. It is constructed out of machine embroidered white/grey rayon stitching to a green HBT cotton twill weave cotton base. The obverse depicts a second pattern Luftwaffe eagle with outstretched wings clutching a mobile swastika in one of its talons on a green backing. It measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 2 1 inches tall.
