State Security and Assistance Service Armband
Sicherheits-u. Hiltsdieust Ärmelbinde. It is constructed out of a dyed cotton base. The obverse reads: “Sicherheits-u. Hiltsdieust”, in white ink above a green rectangular backing. The very top and bottom edges have been stitched and have been folded into the interior. It was a “standard” armband size at one point. The back has been stitched to size. There are some loose threads which indicates it was stitched to a uniform at some point. It measures 7 1/8 inches wide and 2 inches tall.
