Luftschutz NSDAP Armband.

Luftschutz NSDAP Ärmelbinde. It was worn by members of the NSDAP who were participating in air raid defense activities as volunteers. It is constructed out of a white cotton that has been green dyed. The obverse reads: “Luftschutz NSDAP”, it shows an ink stamp to the center and two small holes to the left-hand side where a pin would have been. The top and bottom have been folded over and stitched to size with black thread. The reverse has been stitched to size. Minor soil. It measures 7 ¾ inches wide by 4 1/16 inches tall. A nice one.
