We have here a DLRG "Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gemeinschaft" (German Life-Saving-Association) Basic Certificate Pin. The oval shaped obverse's depict a perched eagle with outstretched wings above waves and beside "DLRG" and are above a bordered half oak leaf wreath that is tied together at the bottom and underneath "Leistungsshein". The back has a soldered on round plate and a well working pin.
