Here we have a quality NSDAP Political Leaders Visor Cap Eagle 1939 Pattern by RZM M1/72. It is constructed out of a die stamped tombak base that has been gold gilded. The obverse depicts a political eagle with out stretched wings, clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in its talons. The hollow back reverse is maker marked "RZM M1/72" (Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart). It also continues to hold all of its flat wire crimped tombak prongs. It measures approximately 2 5/8 inches wide by 1 5/16 inches tall. Nice detail and gilding with wear to the high areas.
