2nd Model Luftwaffe Hanger

A M1937 Luftwaffen Dolchgehänge. The back connector clip, buckles, prong, bands and bottom clips are all constructed out of an injection molded alloy base. The buckles and bands depict beautiful oak leaves and acorns throughout. The clips have that hint of pebbled German detail. The grommets are zinc based. All of these components are held together with two straps. They are constructed out of a cotton base that is covered in a blue-grey felt material (reverse) and a patterned cotton, rayon and aluminum flat-wire stitching (obverse). All three clips continue to work well. A fine set.
