A 72mm wide metal badge with a white enamel and gilt finish. It takes the form of the Brandenburg gates above the five interlocking Olympic circles, with "1936" to the top of the gates and "XI. Olympiade Berlin" to its base with 2 holes for mounting on a vehicle. Maker marked to PC, (Paul Crone in a diamond) to reverse, (sorry under tape which I removed). The emblem is known as Olympiade-Autoplakette, so for use at cars. It is shown in "Deutsche Kraftfahrt" from July 1936 in relation to NSKK serving for the Olympic Games. Just a few small hairlines. Nice large size!
