A 1st Model flyer's dagger model 1935 (so-called "Borddolch") Plated blade with David Malsch manufacturer’s logo etched on reverse alonga waffenamt above in the form of a stickbird with a "5" in his belly. Exhibits minor age where runner laid on trademark. Silver plated nickel pommel and cross-guard with gilded brass sun wheel swastikas. Underside of crossguard stamped “94”. Blue leather grip with triple wire wrap with minor age. Blue leather covered steel scabbard with silver plated fittings with matching minor age. Upper scabbard throat stamped “94”. Complete with unmarked silver-plated nickel chain hanger. Length 48 cm. An uncleaned dagger.
